Berhampur: One person was killed and two others were critically injured in a group clash in Odisha’s Berhampur city on Thursday.
According to sources, M Rama Rao of Samantiapalli was killed and M Krishna and M Narasinghaya were injured in the group clash at Patrapur under Jarada police limits. The injured were admitted in MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur. Their condition was stated to be critical.
On being informed, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Nobody was arrested till the report was filed and further investigation was in progress.
Old enmity between the two groups of people of the area was the reason for the group clash, the sources said.
