1 Killed, 6 Critical As Truck Rams Fruit Shop In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A shopkeeper was killed and six others sustained grievous injuries when a truck hit two cars and five motorcycles before ramming into a fruit shop at Jagatpur in Odisha’s Cuttack district today evening.

The fruit shop owner, identified as Subash Sahu, and six others were rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack with critical injuries soon after the accident.

According to reports, Sahu succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The other injured persons are undergoing treatment at the hospital and their condition was stated to be stable.

As tension prevailed in the area following the incident, police personnel have rushed to the site to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident.
