Balasore: One person was killed and another critically injured after their bike fell into a ditch in Rupsa area of Odisha’s Balasore district.
As per sources, the mishap took place near Bundia Chakk in the wee hours of Saturday when two friends were returning home after attending a wedding at Panchupali.
Their bike skidded off the road and fell into a ditch after losing balance. While one of them reportedly died on the spot, another sustained grievous injury.
Locals immediately informed police about the incident. On being informed, police rushed to the spot, and sent the two to a nearby hospital. While one was declared dead, the injured is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
