Malkangiri: Ten COVID-19 warriors and 40 local contacts were among the 72 new positive cases reported from Malkangiri district in the last 24 hours on Thursday.
Out of the new cases, 47 were reported from Malkangiri municipality and 7 from Balimela NAC. The remaining 18 were reported from the four blocks of Chitrakonda (8), Mathili (5), Malkangiri (4) and Korukonda (1).
With 2 deaths and 444 recoveries, Malkangiri district has 327 active cases at present.
