10 Injured As Bhubaneswar-Bound Bus Hits Truck In Cuttack

Cuttack: At least ten people were injured, some of them critically, after a bus rammed into a goods-laden truck in Bhanpur area in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Saturday.

As per preliminary information, the bus carrying passengers from Sundargarh was proceeding towards Bhubaneswar when it dashed against a truck near Bhanpur under the jurisdiction of Cuttack Sadar police station in the early hours.

Around ten persons, including the driver of the bus, sustained injuries under the impact of the collision.

On being informed, a team of police personnel visited the spot and started an investigation.

The injured persons were immediately rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment. The condition of some of the injured was stated to be critical.
