10 Injured In Mo Bus-Truck Collision In Odisha’s Khurda

Bhubaneswar: At least ten people were injured, some of them critically, in a head-on collision between a Mo Bus and a truck near Mukunda Prasad area in Odisha’s Khurda distcict on Sunday.

Sources said the mishap took place on the National Highway No. 16 in Mukunda Prasad area when the loaded truck proceeding with some goods and the Mo Bus dashed against it.

After receiving information, fire service personnel and police from Khurda rushed to the site and rescued the injured persons from the mangled vehicles.

The injured persons were taken to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) at Khurda for treatment. The condition of some of the injured was stated to be critical.

Both the vehicles have been seized by the police and an investigation into the incident is in progress. Further details are awaited.
