10 Injured As Tourist Bus Overturns In Puri

Puri: At least 10 persons were injured after the tourist bus carrying them overturned at Bhogua near Dandamukundpur in Puri district on Monday.

The injured persons were rescued by locals and admitted to Pipili hospital for treatment.

The occupants of the bus named ‘Jai Sriram’ were heading to Nayagarh after having darshan of Lord Jagannath at Puri when the mishap took place.

Eyewitnesses told police that the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels while negotiating a sharp turn.

The cops have started investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
