Keonjhar: At least 10 labourers were reportedly injured in an explosion in a steel plant in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Thursday.
As per reports, the labourers were working inside the steel plant at Rugudi in district when a blast furnace exploded in the area. As a result, the debris of the furnace with very high temperature fell around in an area of 50 metre radius.
The 10 labourers sustained burn injuries due to the sparks from the furnace. Chaos prevailed in the plant as the labourers started running out of the premises to save themselves.
