Bhubaneswar: Ten female students of a private nursing college in Bhubaneswar were hospitalised on Thursday due to suspected food poisoning.
According to sources, some students of Aryan Nursing College at Sisupalgarh had ordered food from outside through the warden last night after they found insects inside in hostel dal. Twelve among them complained of nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea this morning.
“Twelve students arrived at the hospital around 9 am. Ten among them were admitted to the hospital and administered saline. Their condition is stable. The other two were given medicines and kept under observation,” a doctor at the BMC hospital told a local news channel.
