Bhubaneswar: Titlagarh continued to be the hottest place in Odisha registering the highest temperature of 42.5 degree Celsius on Friday.
As many as 10 places in the State recorded 10 degree or above temperature on the day forcing the people to remain indoors. Titlagarh was followed by Talcher with 42 degree, Malkangiri 41.2 and Bolangir 41 degree Celsius.
According to Met office bulletin, there is not going to be major change in the maximum day temperature for next three to four days.
Meanwhile, yellow warning has been issued for Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Nuapada districts which may witness thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places.
