10 Of Family Injured As Auto-Rickshaw Overturns In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: At least ten members of a family were injured, some of them critically, after the autorickshaw carrying them overturned in Kuchinda area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Saturday.

As per preliminary information, the mishap took place when the auto-rickshaw carrying members of a family turned turtle after it lost balance while negotiating a sharp turn at Ghodabandhuni village under Kuchinda police station limits in the morning.

Sources said the injured persons were rescued by locals and immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Kuchinda for treatment.

The family members were reportedly travelling from Terengamala area to Kuchinda when the mishap took place

On being informed, a police team rushed to the site for an investigation and appropriate steps.
