Bhubaneswar: Kirei in Sundargarh recorded 9.5 degree Celsius, which was the lowest temperature in Odisha the previous night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
According to the weather report by MeT, there has been a slight rise in the night temperature and the mercury dropped below 15 degree Celsius at 10 places in the state:
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 19.9 degree Celsius and 19.5 degree Celsius respectively.
Notably, the IMD had on Sunday forecast no change in the minimum temperature across the state during the next 4 to 5 days. It had also predicted a slight rise in temperature from Sunday.
Light to moderate rain is also likely at one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Rayagada and Koraput during the next 24 hours. Thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur on November 22.
