Bhubaneswar: Ten students from the World Skill Center (WSC) in Bhubaneswar have been selected in the campus placement drive organised by Tanseeq Business Centre LLC of Dubai.
Total 21 students were selected in the campus placement drive organised by Tanseeq Business Centre, Dubai on Tuesday. Of them, 10 students from WSC made it to the coveted selection. Students from various government ITIs and polytechnic colleges of the state participated in the placement programme at the WSC.
During the placement programme, Ram Kumar, Director, Tanseeq Group, Dubai, explored different ultra-modern labs facilitating industry ready courses and hands-on training to students in WSC campus. He appreciated the model of WSC which is playing a major role in nurturing skills of Odisha youth on a finishing school model.
The students of 2022-23 batch of the WSC have been selected in campus placement of major companies including Tata Steel, ArcelorMittal, IHCL, Meghavi Wellness, Emeril Group of Dubai, Honda.
The students of WSC, the premier skill training institute of Odisha government, are given advanced long-term training in various industry ready courses and nurtured into future skill professionals. Post completion of 1-year training programs, they are offered employment opportunities in various national and international companies.
