Bhubaneswar: A minor girl was allegedly abducted from Bhubaneswar railway station on Saturday.
According to a complaint lodged by the girl’s grandmother, the 10-year-old was kidnapped by a truck driver while they were waiting at the station to board a train for Parlakhemundi.
She alleged that the accused struck a conversation with them and even offered to drop them at Parlakhemundi. The girl then left with him to buy food, but did not return.
A fellow traveller, who helped the elderly woman lodge the compliant, said that the accused had covered his face with a piece of cloth and looked suspicious.
