Bhubaneswar: Ten-year-old kid, Chintu from Dhenkanal’s Kamakhyanagar who lost his upper limbs and leg after the tragedy a few months back had dreamt of meeting Ollywood actor Babushan Mohanty at least once in a lifetime.
Chintu’s dream came true on Tuesday when the actor himself paid a visit to the Cuttack-based SCB Medical College and Hospital’s plastic surgery ward to meet his die-hard fan.
While interacting with Chintu, the actor rekindled his hopes and promised to stay by the side of the family whenever there’s a need. When Chintu couldn’t take a selfie with the actor, Babushan himself obliged the child by sitting beside him on his bed and clicking a selfie for memory.
Mohanty also blessed the child with a silent prayer and wished him a speedy recovery.
Chintu was involved in a major accident a few months back in his native town as he came in contact with an 11 KV live wire. The 10-year-old sustained major burns and got admitted to a Bhubaneswar-based private hospital.
Later the kid was shifted to SCB Cuttack, where his upper limbs and a leg were amputated, which was necessary for his survival.
