1,000 Lawyers Get Health Checked At IMS & SUM Hospital’s Free Camp In Bhubaneswar

Lawyers health check-up by IMS-SUM doctors


Bhubaneswar: Around 1,000 lawyers got their health checked at a camp held in the premises of the Bhubaneswar court on Thursday.

The free camp was jointly organised by the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and SUM Hospital-1, faculty of medical sciences of SOA Deemed to be University, and Bhubaneswar Bar Association Welfare Trust.

Thirty doctors from Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Dental and Dermatology departments of the hospital conducted the health check-up.

Surya Narayan Das, Managing Trustee of the Trust, thanked hospital authorities for holding the camp in the court premises, highlighting the importance of organising periodic health check-up for lawyers who worked relentlessly and faced a lot of stress.

Bhubaneswar Bar Association Welfare Trust chairman Manas Mohapatra and Bhubaneswar Bar Association secretary Suman Routray were present during the camp.
