102 Two-Wheelers Seized For Wrong-Way Driving In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police seized 102 two-wheelers for violation of traffic rules in Bhubaneswar.

In order to ensure that the traffic regulations are strictly followed by the vehicle drivers, the personnel of Traffic Police Station I and II launched an enforcement drive at different locations in the city on Sunday.

During the drive, the traffic police focused on the vehicles going on wrong route of one-way roads. They detected drivers of 102 two-wheelers violating the norm. All the vehicles were seized and prosecution reports filed in the court.

The Commissionerate Police has appealed to the vehicle drivers to strictly follow the traffic regulations to prevent penalty and court cases. The enforcement drive on various norms would continue in future, it said.
