Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to go for online auction of 11 mining blocks and invited tender in this regard.
The mining blocks that will be auctioned include seven virgin blocks. The Directorate of Mines has issued a notice for the purpose. The blocks include seven for iron ore, two for iron ore and manganese, one for iron ore and dolomite and one for bauxite.
The last date for submitting the tender with a fee of Rs 5 lakh for each block is August 24 .
While the iron ore blocks are located in Nadidih (Bico), Purheibahal, Chandiposhi, Jumka Pathriposhi, Dholtapahar, Netrabandha Pahar (West) and Gandhalpada, the iron ore and manganese blocks are at Nadidih (Feegrade) and Teherai. The iron ore and dolomite block is in Kasia and bauxite mineral block at Karlapat.
