Bhubaneswar: Odisha reeled under intense heatwave condition with 11 places recording temperature above 40 degree Celsius on Monday.
Western Odisha town of Nuapada was the hottest at 44 degree Celsius, followed by Boudh and Balangir at 43 degree Celsius. Sambalpur and Sundargarh recorded 42 degrees each followed by Titlagarh at 41.8 degrees and Hirakud at41.1 while Sonepur was 41.2 degrees, Bargarh 41 degrees, Jharsuguda recorded 40.8 degrees and Nayagarh 40.
