Bhubaneswar: Eleven students were injured when an auto rickshaw turned turtle at Narendrapur under Banpur police station limits in Khurda on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the afternoon when the auto rickshaw was returning from Aurobindo Purnanga Sikhya Kendra and the driver lost control over the vehicle.
Some locals rescued the students, who were admitted them to a local hospital. Of the injured, four were
shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar after deterioration in their health condition.
Quoting eyewitnesses, police said the mishap took place owing to over-speeding. The driver of vehicle fled the spot after the accident.
