Jagatsinghpur: At least 11 school students and two teachers were injured after a van carrying them overturned in Kujanga area of Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday.
The mishap took place when the van with several students and teahers of Agapala Adarsha Vidyalaya was on its way to the school this morning.
The vehicle skidded off the road after the driver lost control over the wheels and overtuened near Santaragada under the jurisdiction of Kujanga police station, sources said.
As many as 11 students and two teachers sustained injuries in the accident. They were rescued by locals and immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Kujanga.
A team of police personnel reached the site and launched an investigation. Further details are awaited.
