Bhubaneswar: MSME Department Minister Gokulananda Mallik informed the State Assembly that a total 11,432 small-scale industries have been shut during the BJD regime in Odisha.
“The State government has announced a special package to revive small-scale industries across the state,” the MSME Minister said.
Responding to a query by social activist and BJD leader Chakramani Kanhar, the Minister said that out of these SSIs, 3,207 were closed during the Covid period in the state.
In Bhubaneswar 284, Sambalpur 321, and Balagir 288 were shut down due to different reasons during the previous government.
