Bhubaneswar: The state government on Thursday promoted 112 executive engineers (Civil) of Works Department Cadre to the rank of Superintending Engineer (Civil).
According to a notification of Works department, the promotion has been made on ad hoc basis in the Level-l4 of the Pay Matrix under OSRP Rules, 2017. It will remain valid for a period not exceeding one year from the date of their joining as such or till recommendation of OPS
C is received and accepted by the government or till their retirement or superannuation, whichever is earlier.
The notification further said the inter-se-seniority of the promoted Superintending Engineers (Civil) has been fixed in the rank of Superintending Engineer (Civil) as per their initial positions in the Gradation List of Executive Engineer (Civil).
