Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a slight drop in daily COVID caseload on Sunday as 112 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state saw 124 new cases on Saturday, 141 cases on Friday, 155 cases on Thursday, and 183 cases on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 67 of the new infections are from quarantine and 45 local contacts. Among them, 17 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 56 new cases followed by Cuttack (13). Fourteen districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 54,208 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.20%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,53,881, Odisha now has 1,594 active cases.
