Nabarangpur: A 12-hour bandh in Nabarangpur hit normal life badly on Tuesday.
Members of the Samvidhan Banchao Sangharsh Samiti have called the bandh over various demands, including revocation of 10 per cent reservation for economically backward upper castes.
Samiti members picketed several places of the district since morning. The bandh hit markets, business establishments, educational institutions and government offices, all of which remained closed. Vehicular movement, too, was hit. Police forces were deployed at various places to check any untoward incident.
