Gajapati: At least 12 passengers were injured when a Cuttack-bound bus overturned while driver was trying to negotiate a sharp turn and a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction, near Khristapur village under Adaba police limits in Gajapati district.
The mishap took place while the bus carrying 40 passangers was on its way to Cuttack from Rayagada.
The police, with the help of villagers, rescued the passengers and sent the injured to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
