12-Year-Old Boy From Odisha’s Jajpur Translates Mahabharata Into Odia

Jajpur: A 12-year-old from Odisha has done the unthinkable by utilising the lockdown period to translate the Hindu epic Mahabharata into Odia.

Uday Kumar Sahoo, a Class VII student of Shree Aurobinda Nodal School in Jajpur Town, exercised his translation skills to translate the epic from Hindi to Odia.

The son of Chandrakant and Jayanti Sahoo of Kharamangi village under Badachana Block, he translated the 240-page Mahabharata all by himself.
