Mohali: Odisha girl Anahita Mishra bagged gold medal at the National Inter-District Skating Championships in Mohali recently.
The 12-year-old, representing Cuttack district, won the Inline Freestyle Speed Slalom event. She qualified for the Asian Games selection trials, where she will be competing with fellow skaters aged 18 years and above.
The gifted skater, who hails from Khatbin Sahi in Cuttack, is a 3-time National and Open medallist and also won multiple medals representing India at the World Skating Games in Argentina and ASEAN championship at Singapore.
