Puri: A COVID care centre, set up in the premises of Government Women’s College in Puri, started functioning from Wednesday.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma inaugurated the centre, which has 120 beds.
The centre has been provided with 40 B-type oxygen cylinders. It is also equipped with the facility of oxygen supply to the beds through oxygen pipeline.
Four doctors and six pharmacists have been deployed at the centre.
Two ambulances have also been provided in case critical patients need to be shifted to hospitals.
