Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered cases in the state surged past 25,000 as 1255 more patients recuperated from the disease and were being discharged from hospitals on Wednesday.
Ganjam district reported the highest 485 recovered cases on the day followed by Khurda with 125, Sundargarh 122, Sambalpur 107, Puri 75, Mayurbhanj 43, Cuttack 40, Jagatsinghpur 29, Kandhamal 28, Balasore 27, Balangir 24, Koraput 22, and Angul 20, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 18 patients recovered in Nabarangpur, 16 in Gajapati, 14 in Nayagarh, 12 in Kendrapada, 11 in Malkangiri and 10 in Bhadrak.
The recovered cases reported from other districts are as follow:
8 from Kalahandi
6 from Nuapada
5 from Jajpur
4 from Dhenkanal
3 from Jharsuguda
1 from Keonjhar
With today’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 25,737 against 39,018 COVID-19 positive cases with 1337 new cases registered in the last 24 hours.
