Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw another 1297 COVID patients getting cured of the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery tally to 299159 on Monday.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department, 142 of those recovered are from Khurda, 133 from Mayurbhanj, 111 from Cuttack, 100 from Balasore, 76 from Angul, 74 from Sundargarh, 67 from Jagatsinghpur, 62 from Kendrapada, 52 from Puri, 43 from Balangir and 40 from Bargarh
Similarly, 37 more from Kalahandi have recovered from the disease, followed by 36 from Sambalpur, 34 from Keonjhar, 32 each from Bhadrak and Nuapada, 30 each from Jajpur and Nabarangpur, 20 from Dhenkanal, 18 each from Kandhamal and Koraput, 15 from Nayagarh, 14 from Ganjam, 14 from Jharsuguda, 10 from Malkangiri, 7 each from Boudh and Gajapati, 5 from Sonepur, 4 each from Deogarh and Rayagada.
The remaining 30 are from the State Pool.
With this, Odisha now has 8653 active cases. The virus has so far claimed 1543 lives.
