Konark: A massive fire reduced 13 handicraft shops near Sun Temple in Odisha’s Konark to ashes late on Sunday.
The fire broke out at around 1.30 am and triggered three LPG cylinder explosions, intensifying the blaze.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot, but all 13 shops were gutted by the time the fire was extinguished.
While police have started an investigation, electric short circuit is suspected to have led to the mishap.
