Cuttack: At least 13 inmates of a boys hostel of a private educational institution at Bamphakuda in Odisha’s Cuttack have tested positive for COVID-19. The institute falls under ward No. 59 of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
Fifty-six hostel inmates had undergone Rapid Antigen Test after showing COVID-19 symptoms. Of them, 13 samples tested positive. All students of the institution will undergo RT-PCR test on Thursday, informed Cuttack district COVID-19 nodal officer Umesh Ray.
Meanwhile, Odisha reported 31 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, including 2 cases in the 0-18 age group.
According to the I&PR Department, 18 fresh cases are from quarantine and 13 local contacts.

Three cases are from the state pool.
With 10,522 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 0.29%.
