Sundargarh: Thirteen new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Odisha’s Sundargarh district late Friday night.
Of them 11 are male and two are female. All the 13 persons were in isolation at quarantine centres after their return from other states, said district collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan. Of them, nine had returned from Maharashtra while two came from Jharkhand. One each has travel history to West Bengal and Gujarat.
With these fresh cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha has gone up to 1742. While 977 people have recovered from the infection, the virus has killed seven people in the state.
