13 Prisoners, 10 CRPF Jawans Among New COVID-19 Cases In Odisha’s Kandhamal

Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Kandhamal district rose to 527 on Friday with 50 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Of the new positive cases, 18 were reported from G Udaygiri, followed by Baliguda (9), Daringbadi (8), Tikabali (5), Kotagarh (2), Chakapad (2), K. Nuagaon (2), Raikia (2), Phulbani (1) and Kajuripada (1).

The new patients included 13 prisoners, 10 CRPF jawans and two COVID warriors.

With two deaths and 309 recoveries, Kandhamal district now has 216 active cases.
