13-Year-Old Plots Murder Of 67-Year-Old Relative With Teen Boyfriend

Trivandrum: A 13-year-old girl in Kerala has allegedly plotted the murder of her 67-year-old relative along with her 17-year-old boyfriend. The man was killed at his home with his hands and legs tied, and a cloth bound around his neck, reported India Today.

His gold chain and other ornaments were found missing. Initially, cops suspected it to be a case of robbery. But later investigators claimed that it was a pre-meditated murder and identified the girl’s role.

The Class 8 student, police said, had hatched the conspiracy with her boyfriend, a senior secondary school student, to kill the victim, Sivankutty Chettiyar. Their motive was to steal Chettiyar’s gold. With the stolen gold, they wanted to fund an iPhone and a bike for the boy and his two friends. These friends were also involved in the crime.

When cops were interrogating the relatives, they noticed repeated contradictions in her statements. This raised their suspicion. Detailed questioning eventually uncovered the chilling plot.
