Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha climbed to 7,223 on Friday with 69 more deaths being confirmed in the past 24 hours.
The list of daily fatalities includes past deaths for which an audit was done and the cause identified as COVID, the Health Department said.
Odisha has so far seen 1,321 deaths due to the disease this month.
While May reported 660 deaths, the number swelled to 1,272 in June and it rose further to 1,884 in July.
While 732 in the age group of 0-18 years have been infected in the last six days, among the COVID deaths confirmed in the last 24 hours is a 13-year-old boy of Jagatsinghpur district.
Jagatsinghpur saw the highest of 12 fatalities, followed by 11 from Cuttack, 8 from Dhenkanal, 6 each from Bhadrak and Jajpur, 5 each from Khurda, Angul and Kendrapada, 4 from Puri, 3 each from Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, and 1 from Nayagarh.

2.A 45 years old of Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
3.A 25 years old of Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
4.A 45 years old of Female of Angul District.
5.A 62 years old of Male of Angul District.
6.A 55 years old of Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Alcoholic Cirrhosis, Chronic Liver Disease.
7.A 62 years old of Female of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease on MHD & Coronary Artery Disease.
8.A 65 years old of Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
9.A 65 years old of Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
10.A 55 years old of Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Left Filaral leg.
