1305 More Recover From COVID-19 In Odisha, Tally Close To 40K

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1305 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease and were in different stages of discharge from the hospitals across the state on Friday.

Of the day’s recovered cases, maximum 266 were reported from Ganjam, followed by  156 from Khurda, 128 from Cuttack, 111 from Jajpur, 75 from Malkangiri, 71 from Balasore, 63 from Sundargarh and 50 from Puri district, according to a Health and Family Welfare department release.

Similarly, 44 recuperated from COVID-19 in Kalahandi, 42 in Kendrapada, 33 in Koraput, 33 in Nayagarh, 28 in Dhenkanal, 25 in Gajapati, 25 in Nabarangpur, 24 in Sambalpur, 20 in Bhadrak, 19 in Jharsuguda, 18 in Mayurbhanj, 16 in Nuapada, 12 each in Kandhamal and Keonjhar, and 10 in Rayagada.

The recovered cases in other districts are as follow:

9 in Jagatsinghpur

8 in Balangir

7 in Baragarh.

With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state has gone up to 39,205.
