Bhubaneswar: As many as 1340 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals across the state on Wednesday.
Of the recovered patients, 159 were from Khurda, 106 from Sundargarh, 99 from Cuttack, 86 from Balangir, 76 from Kendrapada, 71 from Bargarh, 70 from Nuapada, 63 from Puri, 56 from Jagatsinghpur and 55 each from Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 45 patients recovered in Balasore, 43 in Jajpur, 41 in Jharsuguda, 33 in Sambalpur, 31 in Nabarangpur, 30 in Bhadrak, 28 in Angul, 27 in Kalahandi, 25 in Ganjam, 21 each in Kandhamal, Koraput and Malkangiri, 20 in Dhenkanal, 19 in Sonepur, 9 in Nayagarh, 8 in Deogarh, 5 in Rayagada. Besides there were 17 recoveries from State Pool.
The total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 2,92,477 against 3,05,000 positive cases with 1220 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
