Bhubaneswar: Here’s some good news for Odisha, which has seen a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases in the last few days with the tally touching 149. Fourteen more patients have recovered from the infection, taking the state’s cured tally to 55.
The Health and Family Welfare Department in a tweet on Friday said that one from Kendrapara, three each from Bhubaneswar and Balasore and seven from red zone Bhadrak have been fully cured.
With this, Kendrapada now has zero COVID cases. While 30 of total 47 patients have recovered in Bhubaneswar, it is nine of 19 in Bhadrak and three of 20 in Balasore.
With 55 recoveries and one death, the number of active cases in the state now stands at 92.
