Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning of rain, thundershower and lightning for 14 districts of Odisha by 4 pm on Monday.
Issuing yellow alert, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning likely to affect some parts Sonepur, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Bargarh and Ganjam districts within the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
