Khurda: As many as 15 houses were burgled at a village in Khurda district early on Thursday.
Police said a gang of looters struck Atri village near Baghamari around 1.30 am and decamped with cash, jewelleries and valuables worth lakhs. The incident happened when most of the families at the village were away.
The crime came to light on Thursday morning after villagers noticed that the doors and window grills of several houses were broken.
Police said one of the looted houses has a CCTV. The footage showed that at least four looters were involved.
Police have launched a manhunt to catch the criminals.
