Keonjhar: At least 15 students were injured when a school bus overturned and fell inside a pond near Jambhira village under Nandipada police station limits of Keonjhar district on Wednesday morning.
Reports said a school minibus was ferrying around 15 students to a private school in Hatadihi area when the driver lost control and it overturned, falling inside a pond in Jambhira village. Following the incident, some residents rushed to the spot and informed the police. Later, a police team arrived with a JCB machine, which pulled out the minibus.
Police later admitted the injured students to a primary health centre (PHC) in Hatadihi. Barring two students who sustained mild head and waist injuries, the condition of the remaining students is fine, the police said.
