Bargarh: At least 15 workers were injured after a pick up van in which they were travelling overturned in Odisha’s Baragarh district on Tuesday.
The mishap took place near Jhadeswar Temple at Bargarh in the afternoon when the van, carrying around 20 labourers from Gaisilet area of the district, was proceeding to a work site in the town, sources said.
The injured workers were rescued by locals and rushed to the district headquarters hospital at Bargarh for treatment
While the exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained, the driver was stated to have lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve.
On being informed, a police team rushed to the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
