Bhubaneswar: Police on Thursday seized 1, 500 litres of Indian liquor
from Bhagabanpur area under Tomando police limits in Bhubaneswar.
Two persons were arrested in connection with the seizure.
On receipt of a complaint that the duo was selling liquor illegally
near National Highway at Bhaganbanpur, the cops raided the area
and managed to nab them.
Earlier on November 14, Mancheswar police had seized a huge quantity
of foreign liquor worth Rs 2 lakh from Dhirkut slum here and arrested
a woman in this connection.
