Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally rose to 3,34,020 on Friday after 154 more persons in the state tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases reported in 21 districts, 89 are from quarantine centres and 65 are local contact cases.
As per the Information and Public Relation (I&PR ) Department, Sambalpur recorded highest of 19 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh and Puri with 18 cases each.
The new recoveries in Odisha stood at 224 taking the total to 3,30,545 while the active cases were 1,519. State pool recorded 2 cases.
