Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered cases crossed 42,000 in the state on Sunday when 1550 more patients recuperated and were being discharged from hospitals.
Of the day’s recovered cases, 355 were from Ganjam, 241 from Khurda, 118 from Sundargarh, 99 from Cuttack, 89 from Sambalpur, 72 from Dhenkanal, 64 from Malkangiri, 63 from Balasore, 62 from Kandhamal and 59 from Puri, according to Health and Family Welfare department.

4 from Angul
2 from Nayagarh.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state went up to 42,276 while the tally of COVID-19 positive cases touched 60,050 with the highest single-day spike of 2924 cases in the last 24 hours.
