15Ft Python Beaten To Death By Villagers In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A python of about 15 feet was brutally attacked and killed by locals of Kathasirisi village in Kuliana block of Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.

The villagers attacked the python after it was spotted in Kathasirisi. According to sources, the snake was dragged and attacked with sharp weapons.

The locals, added sources, killed the python on Haldiabandha road in Mayurbhanj.

The video of this brutality has gone viral on social media. The clip showed villagers beating the snake brutally with a sickle.

After learning about the incident, Forest department personnel have started an investigation to identify the people involved in the attack, sources added
