Bhubaneswar: A steady decline in the number of new COVID-19 positive cases has been noticed in the last few days in the Capital city.
On Sunday, a total of 16 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, the tally in Bhubaneswar went up to 31,555 on Sunday.
The number was 20 on Saturday. On Friday, 31 new cases had been reported.
Nine of the new cases were from quarantine centres and seven were through local contacts. Of the total 41 patients had got cured of the novel coronavirus.
With 238 deaths and 30,995 recoveries, Bhubaneswar currently has 301 active cases.
