168 More Test Positive For COVID-19 In Odisha’s Cuttack City

Cuttack: Out of 380 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the district on Sunday, 168 belonged to the areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).

Of the new cases in the city on the day, 56 were detected in institutional quarantine centres which included 36 men and 20 women.

Similarly, 31 positive cases were detected in home quarantines with 7 from CDA areas and 6 from Tulasipur.

Maximum 81 cases were from local contacts which included 8 from Chaulaiaganj, 7 each from Bidanasi and Tulasipur and 5 from Madhupatna.

With the day’s addition, the total COVID-19 positive cases in the city have gone up to 11,514. While 8.789 patients have recovered, 42 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2,683 active cases in the city at present, according to CMC.
